What do you wish to gain from participating in this class this term, and how do you think it will help you in your future endeavors?
There are a few concepts I would love to take away from HDF 290. I hope my writing skills will develop as I take on the class assignments. While participating in classroom activities I hope I will be able to collaborate with fellow classmates. In this class I expect to expand my knowledge of leadership theories. HDF 290 will guide me to be a better leader for the future.
Where do you see yourself in five years?
In five years I will establish myself and have a reliable career. I desire a job that will highlight my strengths as a leader. I would be comfortable having a career where I can interact with others, and use my organizational skills. I want a career that will allow me to express my creativity. I have always lived in Rhode Island and would love to raise my family here. I have the ability to adapt if I ever needed to move out of state.
What is one interesting thing about yourself that you would like to share with the class?
I wrote and illustrated my own children’s book called "Puma Goes to School" in 2011.
